Drilling to Date

7.1 km of diamond drilling has been completed across 8 holes (PIU-01 to PIU-08) at Piuquenes Central and Piuquenes East, confirming a gold-rich porphyry Cu system at Central and a second porphyry system at East.

Standout intercepts – Piuquenes Central (Cu-Au):

  • PIU-03: 801 m @ 0.40% Cu, 0.51 g/t Au, 2.87 g/t Ag from 54 m, incl. 518 m @ 0.53% Cu, 0.73 g/t Au.
  • PIU-01: 422 m @ 0.48% Cu, 0.61 g/t Au, incl. 132 m @ 0.71% Cu, 0.85 g/t Au.
  • PIU-02: 448 m @ 0.42% Cu, 0.46 g/t Au, incl. 126 m @ 0.66% Cu, 0.74 g/t Au.
  • PIU-05 (step-out): 152 m @ 0.40% Cu, 0.23 g/t Au from 530 m (hole to 1,104.5 m).
  • PIU-08 (step-out): 570 m @ 0.39% Cu, 0.24 g/t Au from 188 m, incl. 298 m @ 0.54% Cu, 0.39 g/t Au.
  • (Historical re-assay): 558.2 m @ 0.38% Cu, 0.42 g/t Au from 362 m, incl. 180 m @ 0.71% Cu, 0.61 g/t Au.

New discovery – Piuquenes East (Cu-Au):

  • PIU-06 (maiden hole): 208 m @ 0.31% Cu, 0.13 g/t Au from 292 m, incl. 98 m @ 0.49% Cu, 0.16 g/t Au.

Geological significance:

  • Central: Gold-rich porphyry with bornite present, >800 m vertical extent, mineralization open in multiple directions.
  • East: Stand-alone porphyry–breccia system less than 1 km from Central. Multi-phase alteration with SCC/phyllic/advanced argillic overprints, open north, west, and east.
